CAMPING LES AMIAUX ****St Jean de Monts Vendee

We have used Les Amiaux for over 28 years and it has developed into one of the top holiday parks in France.

Les Amiaux really does have something for all the family. There are two superb swimming pool complexes. The original complex features a large outdoor pool, childrens pool and a a further pool with a water slide. The new complex has a LARGE HEATED INDOOR POOL AND KIDS POOL plus a multi-water slide pool. It really can be difficult to persuade the kids away from here even though the sandy beach is just 800 metres away.

In addition Les Amiaux has tennis courts, numerous play areas, multi-sports area, table tennis and mini-golf. The site bar provides regular nightly entertainment as well as satellite television. The bar also provides good restaurant meals or you can enjoy a good value take away. All our accommodation is on large hedges emplacements so you can relax away from the bustle of the camp life.

Recommended Travel: Around 4 hour drive from Caen why not try the 0845 Portsmouth-Caen sailing out and return on the 1700 Caen-Portsmouth crossing.

The Area: Close to the lively resort of St Jean de Monts with its lively seafront with many bars, restaurants and shops. The ‘old town’ also features a superb twice weekly market. The Isle de Noiremoutier is well worth visiting (try crossing the causeway at low tide!). Also worth seeing, St Gilles Croix de Vie, Apremont, Sables d’ Olonne and La Rochelle.
